This development comes at a time when organisations are getting back to business following one of the most unprecedented times in our economy.  Each standard supports its own benefits within every industry, however they all set businesses apart from competition as it shows their commitment to compliance, customer service and it tells their customers that they are serious about their needs.

We are delivering three key certifications:

  • ISO 9001 focuses on meeting your customer requirements, enhancing their satisfaction and documenting the quality of your organisation’s processes

  • ISO 14001 is the standard that sets a framework and criteria for an environmental management system

  • ISO 45001 which is the standard for health and safety. It exists to help promote and protect the health (both physical and mental) of your employees.

What is ISO Certification and why you should have it?

ISO certification is proof from a third party that you comply with an internationally recognised ISO management standard.

There are two things that ISO certification proves to a potential customer

  1. That your business does things the ‘right way’, to a demanding level

  2. That your business’ systems and processes have been independently audited to prove they meet the requirements of the standards.

With this in place you could increase your success in tenders, improve internal efficiency, reduce costs or simply prove to your potential customers that you are credible.

How do you obtain ISO Certification?

You can achieve ISO Certification in just 6-8 weeks using our step by step process.

Step 1: Choose the Management Standard

There are currently over 22,000 international standards available so finding the right one for your business might seem a little daunting. Most organisations start with the popular ISO 9001 Quality Management System but the best way to determine which standard is right for your business is to give us a call and discuss your needs.

Step 2: Contact Us

If you haven’t done so already, now is the time to contact our team on 01352 756114 to discuss your requirements. They will then book a site visit and go through your needs in more detail.  Each of our customers has different needs and we pride ourselves on offering a truly bespoke service which is simple to follow.

Step 3: Initial Assessment

Our auditors visit you to carry out an initial assessment which will help to identify the areas of non-compliance.  We will then recommend improvements as we gather all the information required for the standard.

Step 4: Preparation of Documentation

We prepare the documentation to include all the compulsory procedures required for each Standard aligned with your business procedures.

Step 5: Certification

When all requirements are met, we will present you with our ISO certification.  You can now publicise your achievements.

Step 6: Reviewing and Maintaining Compliance.

ISO Standards focus on continual improvement and require ongoing work.  Therefore, we will visit you periodically according to your business needs to conduct an internal review to help you stay on track and due to this failure to be annually re-certificated is rare.

ISO 14001 is applicable to any organisation, regardless of size, type and nature, and applies to the environmental aspects of the business’ activities, products and services that the organisation determines it can either control or influence.

ISO 14001 can be used in whole or in part to systematically improve environmental management.

What can ISO 14001 Certification do for your business?

By obtaining ISO 14001 Certification you can prove to your customers, staff and stakeholders that you are aware of your environmental obligations and are working to reduce your environmental impact.

Consistent with your organisation’s environmental policy, the intended outcomes of an environmental management system include:

  • enhancement of environmental performance

  • fulfilment of compliance obligations

  • achievement of environmental objectives

Can ISO 14001 help to future proof  your business?

Interest in the environment is constantly growing and by having an ISO 14001 Certification gives immediate reassurance to potential customers that you have taken steps to minimise your organisation’s impact on the environment and helps to safeguard your reputation. This is critical as the market is becoming increasingly savvy about green issues with potential clients asking more questions about manufacturing processes and eco-friendly packaging.

By implementing ISO 14001 properly now you are embedding commercially viable activities into your business now, before your competitors do.

Following certification of your business, we will conduct period reviews and a recertification review annually, ensuring your business continually strives to improve its systems and processes.

ISO 45001 is available for organisations that are serious about reducing risks in the workplace, improving employee safety, and therefore creating a better, safer working environment.

According to the International Labour Organisation, more than 7,600 people lose their life from work-related accidents or diseases every single day. The ISO committee of occupational health & safety experts set about working to develop an International Standard with the potential to ultimately save lives.  ISO 45001 Health and Safety Management System has been designed to help you reduce these risks and their associated costs.

How can ISO 45001 help your business?

Unfortunately, it only takes one incident to cause an infinite amount of damage to your organisation’s reputation and each year, millions of days are lost to ill health, taking a heavy toll on business productivity.

By benchmarking your current processes and procedures against ISO 45001 Certification requirements you can protect your business within the matter of weeks.

The internationally recognised standard ISO 45001 is often the minimum standard required to meet tender requirements and demonstrate commitment to best practice in employee safety and welfare, which will open doors to new business opportunities.  Public and private sector customers will be reassured by your ISO 45001 certification as it clearly communicates that you are a forward-thinking company which mitigates risks and complies with regulations.

As for your employees, you are also showing them the importance that they play in your organisation by proactively protecting their physical and mental wellbeing in a safe and supportive environment. This can set your business apart from your competitors; not only will your staff be happier and safer, it can contribute to an increase in productivity, reduced absenteeism, and employee turnover.

Following certification of your business, we will conduct periodic reviews and a recertification review annually, ensuring your business continually strives to improve its systems and processes.
