I am a Health and Safety professional who has been in the construction and demolition industry for over 12 years. With experience in high risk activities, this has helped me understand the importance of good health and safety within the workplace.
My responsibilities at Delyn Include carrying out audits, creating detailed method statements and risk assessments, helping clients with accreditations such as Chas, Smas and Safe Contractor, Accident investigation and providing health and safety training as and when required.

As a qualified professional and PhD Chemist I have been involved in all aspects of waste and environmental management for over 20 years. With a very varied background my portfolio of experience ranges from large multiple site companies to small niche business across public and private sector organisations, including pharmaceutical, engineering, aerospace, manufacturing and food industries all of which required bespoke and site specific solutions.

As part of my association with Delyn I provide support and guidance on all matters relating to waste and environmental matters, including site audits, waste minimisation, identification and classification of waste, HAZPAK Chemical packing, DGSA services, Duty of Care Audits, Waste Carriers Assessments, and delivering the new NEBOSH Award in Environmental Awareness Course.

I have experience in agriculture, quarrying, warehousing, MOD, engineering, call centers, catering establishments and care homes to name but a few. Covering aspects such as training, risk assessing, policy writing, auditing, compliance checks, accident incident investigations with regards to all aspects of Safety, Health, Environment or Quality.

As a qualified professional I have been involved in all aspects of health and safety and food safety for over 15 years. With a background mainly in the leisure industry my portfolio of experience ranges from large international corporate hotel chains to small privately owned businesses including retail.

I provide support and guidance on all matters relating to health and safety and food safety, including the provision of advice on policies, the management of health and safety systems including monitoring, auditing and reviewing in addition to undertaking risk assessment review and writing.

I provide consultancy in areas of Director and Senior Management responsibility, particularly for corporations and small to medium enterprises. The promotion of the safety culture and the implementation of positive safety behaviours to ensure that organisations meet their expected safety standards and values.

I have 21 years training experience in Management and Leadership and have supported health and safety training programmes in the Business, Industrial and Defence Sectors. With extensive industrial experience in FMCG manufacturing, heavy and light engineering, cross functional operations management, project and site management.

As part of my association with Delyn Safety I can provide organisations with ongoing Health and Safety support, training and advice.

A pro-active person with the ability to communicate and work effectively at all levels within an organisation whether independently or as part of a team and with the capability to manage change.

As a fire safety professional, I am able to undertake detailed Fire Risk Assessments in a variety of premises in accordance with The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. I can create and deliver bespoke training courses such as the Hot Work Passport Course, Fire Safety Management Course or Fire Wardens Training.
